ANSI/ESD S20.20 Training Course - Standard for Developing Electrostatic Discharge Control Program in the production chain of Electrostatic sensitive devices ESDS at Partron Vina Electronics Company (Korea) is qualified to provide Electronic component

💢 ANSI/ESD S20.20 Training Course - Standard for Developing Electrostatic Discharge Control Program.
VINTECOM International officially launches the course ANSI/ ESD S20.20 - Standards for developing electrostatic discharge control programs of the EOS/ ESD association at Partron Vina Electronics Company and explains the necessary practice requirements. required for students to be able to establish, implement, and maintain an electrostatic discharge (ESD) control program for manufacturing, handling, assembly, installation, transportation, packaging, labeling, maintenance, inspection, testing or electrical or electronic processing in manufacturing processes at Partron Company.
As required by ANSI/ESD S20.20, parts, assemblies, and electrical or electronic equipment in the manufacturing process that are susceptible to damage should be protected from electrostatic discharge greater than or equal to 100 volts HBM (Human Body Model - electrical discharge model from the human body) and 200 volt CDM (Charged Device Model - electrical discharge model due to charged components).
Any relative movement and physical separation of materials or streams of solids, liquids or gases containing charged particles can create electrical charges that pose a potential electrostatic discharge hazard in work and exercise areas. Works with ESDS components. Because of this, the application organization needs to develop an electrostatic discharge control program and measures to eliminate or minimize the risks of electrostatic discharge.
Training objectives – ANSI/ESD S20.20 electrostatic discharge control program conducted by VINTECOM International:
1. Understand ESD Phenomena and Risks
+ Identify the causes and effects of electrostatic discharge (ESD)
Understand how ESD damages sensitive electronic components
Distinguish between catastrophic, latent, and intermittent ESD failures
2. Comprehend the ANSI/ESD S20.20:2021 Standard
Understand the scope and purpose of the standard
Learn key ESD control program elements, including:
Establishment of Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA)
Personnel grounding (wrist straps, footwear, garments)
ESD-safe materials and equipment
Ionization, humidity control, shielding, and packaging
Periodic testing, calibration, and maintenance requirements
3. Develop and Implement an ESD Control Program
Create SOPs and work instructions for ESD protection
Set up EPA zones in compliance with the standard
Conduct daily ESD checks (e.g. wrist strap tester, footwear checker)
Establish internal ESD awareness and competency training
4. Evaluate and Improve ESD Systems
Assess the current status of ESD controls in the facility
Identify gaps and implement corrective actions
Prepare documentation for internal audits and external assessments
5. Meet Customer and Global Supply Chain Requirements
Satisfy ESD control expectations from major customers in supply chain (e.g., Samsung, LG, Intel, Bosch...)
Enhance supplier qualification and competitiveness
+ Achieve compliance with international standards, reduce product defects and warranty costs
