RoHS Certification, RoHS certificate in compliance with the EU directive for electrical and electronic products in the electronic industry

RoHS Certification, RoHS certificate in Vietnam
1. RoHS certificate -  What is the RoHS certification required?

✅ RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances, and affects the entire electronics industry and many electrical products. The original RoHS, also known as Directive 2002/95 / EC, originated in the European Union in 2002 and restricted the use of six hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products. All applicable products in the EU market as of 1 July 2006 must meet RoHS compliance standards.
Directive 2011/65 / EU published by the EU in 2011, known as RoHS-Recast or RoHS 2. RoHS 2 includes the CE marking directive, with RoHS compliance currently required for marking. CE of the product. RoHS 2 also adds Categories 8 and 9, which also adds compliance recordkeeping requirements.
Directive 2015/863 is known as RoHS 3. RoHS 3 adds four restricted substances (phthalates) to the list of six substances.
2. Is your organization RoHS compliant for 2021?
Any business that sells electrical or electronic products, equipment, sub assemblies, cables, components or spare parts directly to countries under the RoHS directive, or to resellers, homes Product distributors or integrators that sell products to these countries are affected if they use any of the 10 restricted substances.
With the rapid spread of digitization, the production of electrical and electronic equipment in the world is exploding. Besides mobile devices, IoT terminals, smart devices, robots, drones, 3D printers, and home medical devices everywhere on the planet .... all of them are regulated by RoHS.
EU RoHS specifies the maximum level for the following 10 restricted substances. The first six apply to the original RoHS while the last four are added to RoHS 3, which came into effect July 22, 2019.
Cadmium (Cd): <100 ppm
Lead (Pb): <1000 ppm
Mercury (Hg): <1000 ppm
Hexavalent chromium: (Cr VI) <1000 ppm
Polybromated Biphenyls (PBB): <1000 ppm
Polybromated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE): <1000 ppm
Bis (2-Ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP): <1000 ppm
Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP): <1000 ppm
Dibutyl phthalate (DBP): <1000 ppm
Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP): <1000 ppm
The RoHS Directive aims to prevent the risks posed to human health and the environment related to the management of electronic and electrical waste.
It does this by restricting the use of certain hazardous substances in EEE that can be substituted by safer alternatives. These restricted substances include heavy metals, flame retardants or plasticizers.
The Directive promotes the recyclability of EEE, as EEE and its components that have become waste contain fewer hazardous substances. At the same time, it ensures a level playing field for manufacturers and importers of EEE in the European market.
Related to RoHS is WEEE, which stands for Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment. The WEEE Directive 2002/96 / EC regulates the disposal, recovery and recycling of electrical and electronic equipment (90% is put in landfills). All applicable products in the EU market must pass WEEE compliance

VINTECOM International is officially designated by the EU directive notification body to participate in assisting businesses producing electrical and electronic equipment in assessing compliance with the RoHS standard according to the EU directive regulation for equipment.
