The EU P.E. Directive 2014/68/EU and UK Statutory Instrument (S.I. 2016 No.1105) require that all pressurised equipment and assemblies, as described under their scope, must be safe when placed on the market or put into service.
The company assess their products and, as referenced against the conformity assessment tables detailed in Annex II of the EU PED, confirm that each product conforms with the specific requirements stipulated there.
In accordance with the scope of the PED and S.I. 2016 No.1105, certain products are exempt where safety compliance is already covered by compliance with other EU Directives. All company Ltd’s products that do require compliance with the PED and S.I. 2016 No.1105 are in accordance with Article 4, paragraph 3 of 2014/68/EU and designed, manufactured & tested to assure safe operation using SEP (Sound Engineering Practice). Products and sample systems & accessories that may be supplied with it do not bear CE and UKCA marking for the Pressure Equipment (Safety) regulations, but are supplied in accordance with Article 4, paragraph 3 of 2014/68/EU by using SEP (sound engineering practice) in the design and manufacture, and are provided with adequate instructions for use.
